Problem
The cost of raw materials is constantly growing and the increase in the cost of electricity is a reflection of the very strong increase in gas prices. One reason for the spike is the faster-than-expected post-lockdown economic recovery, which has increased gas demand and associated CO2 emissions. Italy's dependence on foreign countries doesn't help.
The transition to renewables is essential, but the time is immature to support consumption; we need technology to support this process.
